Welcome to DIY & Makers Family!
Guys, there’s a new kid on the block. Introducing the Spider Bot, your very own Quadruped Robot. Unlike most of our kits, this one is not for everyone actually. You need to have a basic knowledge of Arduino programming, and some guts as well.
The purpose of this Kit is to introduce beginners to Robotics and Communication Protocols used to control robots, encouraging people to make their own variations of Spider Bot, and to try their hand at different ways you can control robots.
Here are a few examples to give you a glimpse of the many creative ways you can control our family of robots (Robotic Car, Robotic Arm and Spider Bot).
- Play Station Controller
- XBox Controller
- Leap Motion
- Smartphone App
- Common remotes used in your home (TV, AC, Speaker, or even Smartphone’s remote app)
- Smartphone’s built-in Accelerometer and Gyro
- Remotely through WiFi
Note: Examples mentioned here are the learning outcomes possible with our kits, and not all of them are provided in our website. But, like our makers, our code repository is ever growing, and will incorporate these use cases in the future
